With it being April fools day, I was hoping all the days events would turn out to be a bad joke, but unfortunately it was all true and really happened.
I don't know if it was the weather, if there is a full moon or what the deal is, but today just about sucked ass and I am totally ready for everyone to go to bed, and for some to even go away... ( I won't mean that tomorrow).
The day started when my husband informed me he was facebooking with some friends lastnight, and to play an April fools joke on them at midnight, told them some pretty crazy stuff, then told them " April Fools", I didn't find ANY of the crap he was cracking up about even a little bit funny, so the day started in an fight.... Only to go down hill. Jenna and Lydia were miserable most of the day, Lydia is working on her front tooth and Jenna, who knows what her deal is. Christina came home from school miserable, and snapping at everyone. Jonahtan was told to let the bunnies out of their cages for a little bit, ( we let them run in the basement so the dogs can't get to them), well as Jonathan was opening the door Toby knocked him out of the way, bolted to the bunnies and hurt Christina's bunny pretty bad. We aren't sure he will make it through the night. I deal with that mess, put the dog in his crate and come in to find the 2 bull dogs dog fighting over a freaking ball... For whatever reason everyone, the dogs included, were on edge today. I have a killer headache, and want to run away.... I need to stay up and watch the bunny ( I don't know why, there is nothing I can really do for him) but I feel like I need to. Jonathan feels like the bunny incident was his fault, it wasn't at all... I am so hoping tomorrow is a better day. It is SUPPOSED to be sunny and warm.. Everyone can go outside, dogs included!!

ReplyDeletethanks guys. Christina's bunny is still alive, but not necessarily well.. When the dog injured him, he had a stroke ( we are pretty sure) causing it to go blind and deaf. Our vet ( who doesn't specialize in bunnies)said when the swelling goes down he may possibly regain it's sight but as of right now it doens't budge when you put your hand anywhere near it's face. We will wait it out a little while and see how it goes, but if not better in a week or so we will consider having it put to sleep, the vet said the pressure behind his eyes could be painful and that's why he isn't eating much. I don't want him to be in pain. I will keep updating. I know some would say.. it is " just" a bunny, but the kids really love him...
